Coffee for Breakfast

Today was such a beautiful day. After church this morning we just couldn't resist being outdoors. Our older girls had a lunch to attend after church, so we decided to have a picnic. For our impromtu lunch we decided drive-thru fare would be right on time. Randy and I decided to have Mexican food. After a quick trip through Rosa's we drove through McDonald's for Aubree. We found a great picnic site at Lubbock Lake Landmark. We finished our lunch and made a trip through the museum. We then took a short walk along the archaelogical dig site. Here are some pictures of our day.

Aubree is so excited to start a new class next week. She will be taking a weekly crochet class. She has been wanting me to teach her, but I haven't been able to. I taught myself from a book. I can't translate what I have learned hands-on. I hope to be posting pictures soon of her progress and finished projects. She is such a little homemaker. She loves to cook, sew, and now crochet. The picture above is her with her new baby. She is such a good mommy!
